Join us for the first ever CLA Reads!
Many of you in the CLA community suggested we start a book group.
We are happy to announce our first selection, Busy Lives and Restless Souls: How Prayer Can Help You Find the Missing Peace in Your Life, by Becky Eldredge.
We kick things off with a 90 minute mini-retreat on November 30, 2020, beginning at 7:30PM Eastern. Members of the CLA community will then have an opportunity to participate in virtual discussion groups in December and January. We conclude with a “Q&A with Becky” on February 1, 2021.

Author Becky Eldredge will offer the a 90 minute "mini-retreat" called "Longing for the Light of Christ in a Busy, Restless World." Becky will introduce themes from her book and kick off the conversation.

Join a small group to discuss the book and gain insights from your peers. Groups will each meet once in December and once in January.
Grow.
We’ll wrap up our reading with an encore visit with Becky for some Q&A about her book, Ignatian spirituality, and going deeper with God.

About Becky:
Becky is a talented writer who is passionate about Ignatian spirituality and teaching people how to make room for God in their lives. Becky has extensive experience in young adult ministry and adult faith formation, and is a much sought-after retreat leader and spiritual director. In addition to her two books and numerous other publications, Beck is the co-founder of Women of the Well and the publisher of beckyeldredge.com where she offers reflections and spirituality resources. Becky has been married to Chris for sixteen years, has three children — Brady, Abby and Mary — and calls Baton Rouge, LA home!
